Curtis Elmo  Kitts
Kitts, Mr. Curtis Elmo – age 84 of Luttrell went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 27, 2012. He was a member of Cedar Ford Baptist Church. He was an avid fiddle player and bluegrass musician. He was a former City Council member of Luttrell and former Union County Commissioner. Preceded in death by parents, Blaine and Mossie Kitts; brothers, Earnest (Runt) Kitts, Roy Kitts, Leonard Kitts, Cloyd (Poss) Kitts, J. B. Kitts, Mayford (Bud) Kitts; and sisters, Lena Bean and Lodean Norton. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Wanda Nadine (Damewood) Kitts; daughters, Kay and Billy Henderson of Maynardville, and Pat and Randy Greene of Washburn; sons, Mitchell and Kay Kitts of Luttrell and Kevin and Haley Kitts of Halls. Loving sister, Kathleen Smith of Clinton; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Several loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in Trinity Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Michael Kitts officiating. Interment November 30, 2012, 1:00 p.m. in Sharp Cemetery in Luttrell. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Sharp Cemetery c/o Jimmy Devault, 114 Stowers Drive, Corryton, TN. 37721.
