Mr. J C Collins, age 83 of Washburn, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Tennova Residential Hospice in Halls. Owner of Chief Paving Company. Member and Chairman of Deacons of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Lifetime member of the Odd Fellows. He was a Korean Conflict Veteran. Proceeded in death by parents, Frank and Sarah Collins; sisters, Ommo Whitener, Edith Beeler, Lena Collins (infant twin); brothers, R B and Jimmy Collins, grandsons, Greg Johnson, Casey Buckner; father-in-law, David Fox. Survivors: wife of 61 years, Nancy Fox Collins; daughters, Patricia (Larry) Lay, Pamela (Donnie) Johnson; sons, Randall (Theresa) Collins, David (Karen) Collins, all of Washburn; Brother, Frank (Minnie) Collins of Washburn; sisters, Frances Stephens of Virginia Beach, VA, Billie Faye Wolfenbarger of Washburn; mother-in-law, Grace Fox of Washburn; grandchildren, Dewayne Lay, Josh Collins, Jeremy Collins, Heather Carpenter, Nicole Meadows, Courtney Buckner, Whitney Sands & Hollie Singleton; several great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and friends. Family will receive friends Monday, October 1, 2012, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Washburn. Rev.
