Obituary for J. Kitts

Kitts, J. H. – age 67, of Halls went home to be with the Lord February 18, 2013 after a lengthy illness. He passed away at Tennova Residential Hospice. He loved the Lord and was an avid Bible reader. He was a member of Highland View Baptist Church in Halls. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Thurman and Viola Kitts. He is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 48 years, Betty Sue Kitts; son, Jim and wife Cindy Kitts; special sister-in-law that felt like a daughter, Susan Cox; sisters, Thelma Muncy, Glenda (Ricky) Ridenour; brothers, beloved brother and father figure, Doyle (Salley) Kitts, Billy Joe (Sharon) Kitts; granddaughters, Brandi (Chris) Goin, Samantha Kitts and Seth; special nephew Quinton Conard ,thought of as a grandson; great grandchildren, Jayln, Brayden and expecting Haydn; sisters-in-law, Christine (John) Rudder, Charlene (A. L.) Turpin, Marlene (Burl) Weaver, Judy (Charles) Taylor, Maude (Richard) Riffey, Vanda (Lynn) Frye; brother-in-law, Buddy (Shirley) Kidwell; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The family will meet at Halls Memory Gardens at 12:45 p.m. Thursday for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service.
