John L. Lewis – age 58 of Sharps Chapel, went home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2018. He was of the Baptist faith. John was a self-employed mechanic for many years and a former employee of Clayton Homes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Lewis and Peggy Wells; three sisters; and eight brothers. John is survived by sisters, Letha Lewis, Clara (Tim) Dykes, Brenda (Bob) Keller, Sandra Eastridge and Dorothy (Vagelis) Makris; brother, Ronnie Lewis; and several nieces, nephews and family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service will immediately follow with Reverend Tim Sharp officiating and music provided by Bob Keller. Friends desiring may contribute to cover funeral expenses to Trinity Funeral Home.
