Obituary for John Edward "Jack" Mynatt

John Edward "Jack"  Mynatt
John “Jack” Mynatt – age 72 of Maynardville, born on March 25, 1943 and passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016. He was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church and a member of Masonic Lodge 763, Burlington. He is preceded in death by his father, Attorney Hoke Mynatt, Sr.; mother, Grace Barnett Mynatt; brothers, Preston and Bud Mynatt; sisters, Joan Mynatt and Teenie Ward and son-in-law, Lee Allen Pollard. Jack is survived by his wife of 15 years, Penny Mynatt; daughters, Candi Pollard, Michelle (Stacy) George, Shannon (Tim) Smith; and step-son, Brian (Gina) Thomas; grandchildren, Jessie, Courtney, Brooke, Brittany, Katie, Brent, Logan and Ella; three great-grandchildren; brother, Hoke Mynatt, Jr.; and sisters, Betty Goins and Marion Bullard. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will immediately follow at 8:00 p.m. with Dr. Jack Parrott officiating. Masonic services to be conducted. Family and friends will meet Friday, March 25, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Home and go in procession to Mynatt Cemetery in Luttrell for a 2:00 p.m. interment.
