Malone, Kenneth E. (Sonny) – age 79 of Maynardville passed away February 24, 2013 at Willowridge Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a 50 year member of J. C. Baker Lodge #720 F&AM. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. He is preceded in death by father, William Lawrence Malone and mother, Martha (Raley) Malone; brother, Robert (Bobby) Malone; sister, Anna Lou (Malone) Young and nephew, Preston Malone. Survived by son, Rodney Malone; grandsons, James Rodney and wife Ashley (Heifner) Malone and Blake Randall Malone; great grandchildren, James Rodney “Cooper” Malone and Katheryn Oneita Malone; very special brother, sister-in-law and nephew, Ray Von and Phyllis (Gordon) Malone and Paxton Malone; brothers, William “Bill” Malone and Darrell Malone; several other nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, February 25, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. followed by a Masonic service at 8:00 p.m. and funeral service to follow in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Burney Hutchinson and Reverend Junior Raley officiating. Interment Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. in Beeler Cemetery on Hickory Valley Road.
