Chittum, Lonnie Bill – age 80, of Tazewell went home to be with the Lord August 31, 2013. He was a member of Faith Deliverance Church in New Tazewell. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired brick mason of more than 50 years. He is preceded in death by parents, Fate and Elsie Chittum; sisters, Hazel Cupp and Nell Overton; and brother, Phill Chittum. He is survived by loving wife of 54 years, Mona Chittum; daughter, Londa (Jeff) Eversole; sons, Mitchell (Gayle) Chittum, Wendell (April) Chittum, Lonnie Kent Chittum and Arnold Chittum; sisters, Margie Greer of Texas, Bobbi Perry of Morristown and Joyce Ann Williamson of Loganville, Georgia; brother, Edd Chittum of Fort White, Florida; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Paul Blankenship, Reverend Brian Wheble and Reverend Jeff Eversole officiating. Interment will be in Irish Memorial Gardens in Tazewell, Tennessee with full military honors presented by Tri-County Honor Guard.
