Fields, Muriel W. – age 93, of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Tennova Residential Hospice. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a World War II veteran, a 32nd degree Mason and past Master of Solar Lodge #914 F & AM in Huntsville, Alabama and a member of the Shriners Cahaba Temple. He is preceded in death by parents, Claude and Bennie (Sadler) Fields; brothers, James, Bill, Bob and Donnell all of Huntsville; sister; Katherine Sherrill of Knoxville; grandson, Tim Sands of Maryville; daughter, Sandra Sands of Huntsville; and the love of his life, Mary (Lyon) Fields. Survivors are daughters, Donna Creswell (John) of Maynardville, Jan Drewry (Chip) of Huntsville; son, Ron Fields (Linda) of Huntsville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Morningside Assisted Living in Madison, Alabama, Elmcroft Assisted Living of Halls, Renaissance Terrace Assisted Living of Knoxville, and Tennova Residential Hospice of Halls for the loving care given to our father. Graveside funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Huntsville Memory Gardens in Huntsville AL.
