Acuff, Shirley Ruth (Patty) – age 77, of Maynardville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 19, 2013. She is preceded in death by husband, Arthur G. Acuff, Jr.; and parents, Fred E. Patty, Sr. and Ida Mae (Webster) Patty; brothers, R. A. and Benny Patty. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired employee of Booker One Stop Market II (Hillbilly Market). She is survived by daughter, Pam (Dewayne) Foust; son, Doug (Susan) Acuff; brother, Fred E. Patty, Jr.; sister, Lucille Johnson; grandchildren, Krista and Garrett Foust; special grandchildren, Jasper and Kingston Brown; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013 with funeral service immediately following in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Philip King officiating.
