Mamaw, I'm so sorry that I wasn't there to say goodbye to you. I tried to get people to put you on the phone, but it just never worked out. I would have been out there if I could have been and I wanted to so bad. I guess it's better that I don't have to remember you being so sick. My memories of you get to be sneaking off to drink coffee with you on the front porch while Papaw warned us that the bottom of my feet were going to turn black, catching fireflies in the front yard with my cousins while you watched from the porch, driving my Barbie Jeep and the lawn mower with you, going to church and listening to you sing, playing the piano with you, watching your 4 o'clocks bloom every evening, answering the phone to hear you say "Is this my Precious Doll Baby?!", crunching on ice with you to annoy Papaw and drinking our sweet tea. I'll miss picking on Papaw with you. Remember when we painted his nails and he went to church with them painted?! Haha! Or when we painted his nails while he was standing in the kitchen digging in the freezer? That was so funny. We sure were a good team. Don't worry though, Daddy already promised me that he would be my new partner in crime. No one can take your place but we will make it work. Papaw, if you're reading this... You're not off the hook yet! Mamaw, I hope you're up there hanging out with Mamaw Plummer. Mom and I are sure that she was right there to welcome you into heaven. She sure did love you. We all love you. I guess Aunt Ginny wasn't completely right after all. The Lord didn't call us up all at the same time but I promise you that you didn't go alone. A piece of us all went with you the other day. I could go on about how sad I am that you're gone... But Mamaw, look at how blessed I am to have had you in my life. God loved me enough to give me you.
